The 25th Anniversary Lavender Law® Conference & Career Fair will be held August 22-24, 2013 at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco, California. Lavender Law brings together legal practitioners to attend two days of panel discussions on cutting-edge issues affecting the LGBT community. Topics covered this year include: relationship recognition, LGBT intimate partner violence, transgender athletes and diversity on the bench.
The Career Fair, held on the first day of the conference, features recruiters from top law firms and corporation as well as students from law schools across the country. Special programming is offered for family law practitioners, transgender advocates, corporate counsel and those interested in pursuing a career as a member of the judiciary. The LGBT Bar is a national association of lawyers, judges, non-profit activists and other legal professionals dedicated to promoting justice in and through the legal profession for the LGBT community.
